Here's a new painting from a recent trip. I really enjoyed working on this one as it vividly brought back so many memories from this adventure...the sound of the boats on the river, the smells of the flowers in the air...a truly wonderful place!

We traveled in various types of boats going up this river in Laos, sometimes in cushioned comfort, other times sitting on the wet floor taking on water and bailing—all the time marvelling at the beauty of this country and having lots of laughs with such good friends. Oh, what a time that was..
