A very thoughtful couple commissioned me to paint this scene for their good friend as a Christmas gift. They told me that their friend is such a kind and caring person who continually helps others and rarely takes time away just for herself. A few months ago however, they all managed to get away and share a wonderful holiday together. This scene depicts the pretty front porch of their holiday house where they would enjoy each others company, laugh, and create some very happy memories.

I hope this little painting helps to bring back those joyful times, the kindness and love of good friends, and the importance of taking time to care for oneself as well as others.
