Planning has just begun for a future adventure that will see some hiking on ancient whisky smugglers’ trails and visits to some historic Scottish whisky distilleries so I've been thinking about all things Scottish lately.
This is a new painting called Water of Life—a nod back to the original name, Uisge Beatha, from where modern day Scotch has evolved. It was a joy to paint with all the abstract shapes and colours in the reflections and I'm looking forward to painting more of this subject matter.
